If It Is Not Blooming…

I stepped outside to walk my pups and look what I saw. I had to share this with you—gorgeous blooms!  So I ran inside, grabbed my phone, and plopped down in the grass. This unexpected moment is what inspired this week’s SOUL STORY video.

And I was thinking about when something isn’t working for us or not growing where it’s planted. That’s exactly what happened to my roses. We planted them about three months ago in a different spot. They were not happy.

The kind man who cuts my lawn said, “Give it time. They’re just in shock from being uprooted.”

But I thought to myself, they’re not thriving here. So we moved them. They still weren’t happy. But I just noticed that they are blooming! And there are other buds. They smell so fragrant and lovely.

Is this a story about roses? No.
