Grateful for your comments!

  • The words you spoke touch my heart. I thank you very much. Well said.

    L.W.

  • That was a “Soul Beautiful” story. I enjoyed every line. Thanks for sharing!

    J.R.

  • You are such a great writer....it’s as if I am there experiencing every feeling you are....truly terrific, Dara. I love reading your stories of life! xo

    J.S.

  • Your blog post. You are such an amazing writer. I could actually feel the emotions and feelings you were writing about. You truly have a gift.

    J.L.

  • Awwwww. I have to work tomorrow and here I am ugly crying hugging my own reminiscences. Thanks for letting me give myself license to reach back to remember ... "We laughed until we had to cry- and lived right down to our last goodbye ..." Thanks Dara Levan for the emotional onion-peeling you evoke each week. I end with my favorite reminiscent last line, 'The only truth I know is you.”

    M.B.

  • So poignant, heart aching, yes, but wrapped up in an almost new blanket of philosophical acceptance. Proud of your gifts which you share so generously.

    M.

  • I can relate to everything you said...so happy you accepted help...not easy, I know.

    J.S.

  • You just described an introvert by nature who was taught somewhere along the line to serve others in whatever way presents itself. That’s a taught skill. Cherish the friend you really laugh with. When you lose them you lose that kind of laughter. I love your blogs. They make me think which the older I get can be painful ...I’m kidding about the painful part.

  • You so eloquently expressed what I struggle with. It’s so freeing to read your experience and might employ it on my own.

    J.B.N.

  • Thank you for sharing Dara. Like I said before, you are so brave to talk about your personal life in public. As I read the beginning sentences, I wanted to keep reading. It is so raw and so well written.

    S.M.

  • Hi Dara, I cried and laughed reading this because it’s so relatable.

  • WOW! You spoke to me today!!!! In my entire life, I have found it so difficult to utter those three words. Why is that? Is it a Gemini thing? When someone volunteers to help and I (very rarely) accept it no matter how many times I say "thank you" I never feel I've said it enough. No matter how many ways I say it I always think it could be expressed in a much better way.

    Always love reading your blogs.
