Leslie Hooton is many things: a three time published author, a fabulous friend, a powerful speaker, a flower enthusiast, a lover of language, a seeker of color in a black-and-white world.
Her essays have been published in Newsweek, Moms Don’t Have Time to Grieve, and Women Writers, Women’s Books. Leslie was interviewed on the PBS show entitled Emerging Voices in the South. She’s appeared on Zibby Owens’s podcast, featured by Julie Chan, Friends and Fiction and their Book Club and numerous other podcasts.
