Does something simple have you stuck?
I felt frustrated. I kept trying to move my screen forward. It. Would. Not. Budge. Then I had a thought that inspired today's Soul Story.
While revising chapter seven of my book, I needed to move the larger screen closer to me. My lower back ached as I leaned toward the text. #writerwoes
But when I tried to pull it forward, all I felt was resistance. And I could not for the life of me determine why the cord was taut.
I could tug and try for a new outcome. I could be bothered and allow this moment to interrupt my creative flow. I could give up.
Then it occurred to me that maybe there was a simple solution, which I wasn't allowing myself to see.
A blockage. But where?
Lo and behold, the cord had simply slipped behind my desk. It just needed to be repositioned.
What have you done when something so seemingly simple has you stuck?
