When's the last time you played?

My husband and I went for an afternoon walk, engrossed in a conversation. Then I spotted this whimsical ride—totally forgot what it is called! (Does anyone remember?) But it brought back memories from my youth. Earlier, carefree years on my elementary school playground in Miami.

I jumped on. Gripped the rusty metal handles. Listened to it creak as I leaned back and looked at the sky. My hubby grinned, amused and likely grateful we didn’t know a soul as I spun faster.

And it got me thinking about going backward to go forward - spinning!

We can spin out of control, become dizzy, and go nowhere. Or, we can embrace the moment. And gain momentum from our experiences and move forward in freedom.

My wish for you this week is to find joy and momentum. Make time to play. Be spontaneous.
Be in the moment. Just. Be.

When's the last time you played?
