WELCOME TO
MY BLOG
I started Every Soul Has A Story® in 2017 to connect others through shared experiences. I write about the human journey--unconditional love, resilience, parenting, loss, hope, and the radiance that emerges from our breaking points.

Stories Connect Us
There’s a lesson in being present; some moments aren’t meant to be captured. Just simply lived.
When life unfolds in unexpected ways…
Another spontaneous moment. Another spontaneous sharing. That is what my weekly (bi-weekly this week!) Soul Stories are about.
We connect. We converse. It’s real talk in real time.
What began as a blog nearly five years ago has transformed into an inclusive podcast with authentic, honest conversation. I’m beyond thankful for each insight, each person, each episode. Sharing our stories is more important than ever. It provides wisdom, perspective, and a safe space for all voices to be heard. I deeply appreciate the guests who have gifted me their candid stories on the Every Soul Has a Story Podcast.
Signs of growth, rebirth, and expansion.
I marveled as buds became blossoms the past few weeks–a sign of growth and rebirth. And I hope these blooms uplift your heart as well. Spring is here in South Florida. I’m grateful for the spectrum of colors sprouting and petals unfolding.
Community. Connection. Recalibration.
I had an epiphany this week. It happened during a deep conversation with my daughter. Here it is:
Life will suck sometimes. Sadness, strife, sickness, and other uncontrollable or unexpected events will happen. The lousy makes the good even better. You may say “Duh, Dara.” But I’ve felt swallowed by a quicksand of worry.
I have a confession: I’ve been vacuuming excessively and obsessively.
My heart has been heavy. I’ve been out of words. The devastation, worries, and sadness have felt suffocating. (Keep reading because there’s a silver lining.)
